What is a Blog?


The term blog is a shortened form of the word weblog. An online space for the written word, each entry is called a post, and is automatically time stamped. These are organised reverse chronologically, so that the latest post is at the top.

Why do people Blog?


"We discovered five major motivations for blogging: documenting the author's life, providing commentary and opinions, expressing deeply felt emotions, working out ideas through writing, and forming and maintaining communities or forums.
